Large Flowering Shrubs

Mid-June is busting out all over. Here are some of the larger shrubs that are flowering in our garden now:

Other woodies blooming in the garden are:

Viburnum trilobum, the American Highbush Cranberry.

Sorbus aucuparia ‘Rossica’, Russian Mountain Ash

Actinidia kolomikta, Northern Kiwi Vine

Syringa sp. Lilacs

  1. Hi Adrian: the Onondaga viburnum is really striking – those are red flower buds in the center?

    The Sargent’s Viburnum you planted in 2004 finally bloomed last week. No sterile peripheral florets (or red buds), but nice just the same.
